Celebrating Survivorship

Two weeks ago I attended the City of Hope Bone Marrow Transplant Reunion celebrating 5 years since my last transplant!!!! Let it be known to all that I love and adore this man - Dr. Len Farol - who has saved my life THREE times in the last 11 years!!! He laughingly introduced me as the reason he has aged so much and I replied HE is the reason I’ve been ABLE to age!!!! God bless City of Hope, Be The Match, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and LifeStream blood bank - without any one of these amazing organizations I would not be alive and happy today. That is why I am committed to volunteering and supporting these organizations - so that others who have to hear the scary words "you have cancer" have treatment options and HOPE for a happy and rewarding (and LONG) life!
